The truth will cause conflict

There are many situations in which if the truth is told then a conflict might arise. Therefore, in order to avoid a conflict, an individual might lie. This reason for lying is found in two types of relationships, these are interpersonal relationship and personal relationship. The severity of the lies may differ depending on the form of relationship, however, the main reason is to protect the relationship among each other.
Depending on the situation a lie needs to be told because the truth will be too devastating for the individual to emotionally handle. An example of lying to avoid conflict is present in several marriages, where the husband may lie to his wife about doing the dishes on time to avoid her getting upset. There are many other events that takes place in one’s life and in order to avoid an uproar, the person tells a lie, but what each person needs to understand is when a lie is acceptable.
