The Dagger

A lie is like a dagger to the heart! If only as human beings we would realize this. We do not want to be lied to because it hurt us to our very core but yet still we lie to each other every day. Why is that? We will lie to our family and friends because we do not want to hurt them with the truth. Bur, wouldn’t it be better to tell your family and friends the truth and depending on the severity of the situation, talk things over, learn from the situation and move on? Lying can be an immature act because we are afraid to face the consequences that it might bring.
